Kevin Copp

The Ivy League, Assistant Executive Director, Digital Content and Communications

Kevin Copp was named the assistant executive director of digital content and communications for the Ivy League in May 2018.

Copp is responsible for the day-to-day management of the League’s recently announced partnership with ESPN, which will showcase over 1,100 events per year on the variety of ESPN platforms. In addition, he manages the League’s on-demand video library and oversee all broadcasts at Ivy League postseason events.

Copp spent the last three years serving as the assistant athletic director for video services, at Temple. Copp was responsible for overseeing the video production department, which provides content on OwlSports.com, as well as in-venue video boards. Additionally, he managed the production of live broadcasts for OwlsTV and served as on-camera talent and a play-by-play broadcaster.

Prior to working at Temple, Copp spent seven months as the director of new media for Towson. At Towson, Copp created and supervised the production of all video content for TowsonTigers.com and the Towson Athletics YouTube channel.

Before his time at Towson, Copp spent five years at the University of Georgia, where he worked as a video production assistant before serving as the video production manager for Georgia IMG Sports Marketing. At Georgia, Copp was responsible for producing and editing video, served as on-camera and play-by-play talent, and oversaw live broadcasts for six sports.

Copp interned for Georgia IMG Sports Marketing prior to his time at Georgia. He also worked as a play-by-play broadcaster for the SEC Network, ESPNU, and the Georgia Bulldog Radio Network.

A 2010 graduate from the University of Georgia, Copp finished with a bachelor’s degree in English.
